ManyTools lists web tools by the job they do: link shorteners, image hosts, SEO tools, whois lookups and many more. Each list gives what a tool costs, where it runs and, where we have one, a plain line on what it does.
How we rank
- Each list is in order of Google reach: a blend of a tool's monthly visits from search and the monthly searches for its name, both Ahrefs estimates. Where one of the two is missing or zero, the other counts alone; a product on a page of a bigger site, like Google Forms, counts by its name.
- Tools made by the ManyTools team come after the first three tools from other makers (in a shorter list, after all of them), and they are labeled.
- Anyone on the team can move a tool by hand when the order is wrong.
- No one can pay for a place.
What we check
We check that each tool's website still answers, and every list says when its sites were last checked. Prices are as the tool is listed. Where a price is not confirmed, we show no price rather than a wrong one.
Likes
A like saves a tool to My Tools on your device, with no account. Likes on the old site came mostly from bulk accounts, so we don't show or count them.
